Dean "T-Baby" Reed learned how to play music from his father Henry Reed, who learned how to play from a Civil War fife player Quince Dillion. He helped to define the modern sound of the State Line region in Giles county. Dean was interviewed at the Henry Reed Memorial Gathering in 2023, which was the second to last gathering he ever attended, as he passed in 2024. Closed captions recommended.
