Hearty and satisfying, chicken paprikash is one of Hungary's best-known dishes. Comfortingly rich with sour cream and subtly smokey and sweet from the paprika, you have got to love this inherently simple, homey stew. It’s cheap to make too. Traditionally served with Spaetzle, pasta or dumplings this is worthy for a dinner party or weekend treat. Ingredients Below:
8 Chicken Thighs
salt to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 medium yellow onions, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ cup sweet paprika
2 cups chicken stock
⅔ cup sour cream, room temperature
¼ cup heavy whipping cream
