Star Trek's Khitomer Class Starship represents the first joint development project between the Klingon Empire and United Federation of Planets, mixing Starfleet and Imperial designs with the addition of some Romulan technology. The result was the AFS Khitomer, a prototype vessel that carried advanced antiproton technology and acted as a flagship for a new organisation, one created out of this alliance.
