Experience the vibes and atmosphere of the Kapiti Coast Christmas Parade & Festival 2025, held on Saturday 13 December 2025. The schedule kicked off at 11:00 am with the Parade, starting at Paraparaumu College, floats make their trip along Mazengarb Rd, with the Parade finishing at Mazengarb Reserve. At around 11:30 am, the Festival continued with live entertainment, face painting, a variety of food to excite your palate, and games for kids, as well as a cute puppy.
SH1 was closed from my 60 minute drive from Island Bay to Paraparaumu so had to take the old SH1. However Transmission Gully SH1 was open throughout my drive back home. Parking was well organised and friendly. This event isn't near the main Paraparaumu CBD and Train Station, but it was def an enjoyable first trip to this event. Will look to come back for next years event.
