Semporna Breeze

We went on short holiday to a resort called Sky Water Villas, off Semporna in Sabah from 13th to 15th of December 2024.

We took AirAsia from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIAT2) to Tawau Airport. The flight’s duration was about 3 hours.

From Tawau Airport, we hired Grab service car to Semporna. The car ride was about an hour. We used a private jetty called Mydin Jetty to take a speedboat ride to our resort. The boat ride’s duration was 30 minutes.

The resort sat on the edge of reef, with a long jetty jutting out to the edge to receive boats. When low tide, we could clearly see corals, fishes, urchins, starfish on sea floor. We could also swim in the waters from the resort.

From the resort, we also went on island hopping to three islands : Timba Timba, Mataking and Pom Pom islands, to sightsee and snorkle.

We were blessed with good weather and calm waters during our stay and we enjoyed every minute of our time there.
