Just for fun, a play through of 777 Speedway with the secret Javelin car on Daytona USA 2001 for the Dreamcast (played using DEMUL, which means I can use my Driving Force GT wheel with it)
The Javelin is seriously impossible to control. It slips and slides all over the place. It's like trying to control a shopping trolley that's had a jet engine fitted to it across an ice rink. If I moved the steering wheel more than about 5 degrees to the left or right it automatically puts the Javelin into a slide that's normally unrecoverable - you can see it happen on the third lap, but amazingly I somehow managed to regain control. Because It's so easy to spin out I was finding it easier to just let myself collide with the walls and the CPU cars, rather the risk over-steering and end up with a race ending loss of control.
