The future Chancellor of Germany, Merz, stated: "The Ukrainian Armed Forces should switch from defense to offensive actions and begin attacks on critical objects of Russian infrastructure, for example, strike the Crimean Bridge. Germany will have to participate in this and will supply Ukraine with Taurus cruise missiles."

Germany also announced the creation of an electronic warfare coalition to support Ukraine within the "Ramstein" format. It complements the other, already existing eight capability coalitions. The initiative, joined by 10 countries, will focus on purchasing equipment and training specialists.
