Looking for red-fleshed selections we spent over 2 hours going down 4 rows and tasting between 70 and 100 different varieties. We only selected one Red Fleshed variety and 2 other Interspecific Hybrids with good flavor potential. But did we do well? We are out to see if our choices will stand up the day after. We will just retaste and get a Brix sugar reading on each and see how good we really are. There are so many good tasting fruits that it can get overwhelming trying to pick out the Great One with the Zaiger WOW Factor! These are all varieties that could be heading to your backyard in a few years.
