The Wack Pack is easily one of the most notable parts of the Howard Stern Show - or, well, it was at one point. In the years that have passed since the radical shift into sanitation on the Stern Show, people have gone back to listen to the archives of the best years of terrestrial and satellite radio. One man stands among the rest as the most influential Wack Packer to ever exist. He essentially is the grandpappy of the group, laying out the groundwork for all of the members that would inevitably follow in his footsteps. Fred Schreiber, better known as “Fred the Elephant Boy” has definitely left quite the impression on the show’s listeners. With his unusual debauchery, mush-mouthed voice, quiet presence, and general social awkwardness, Fred’s story is quite the eccentric one. Nobody else on the show ever provided quite like Fred. In today’s video, we’ll be going over his bombastic story of character growth and auditory struggles. This is the story of Fred the Elephant Boy.
