Sonic Robo Blast 2: Sonic 3 Edition is a small collection of mods that resemble the original title, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, made by various creators.

The main feature here is S3 Sonic.
S3 Sonic has made his way to Sonic Robo Blast 2 to help Sonic and co. to defeat Eggman once more.​

His abilities completely match how they originally were in the original game as well:
• Insta-Shield - The Insta-Shield tags along S3 Sonic as pressing jump mid-air will protect you from hazards and attacks briefly, as long as you don't have a shield on. Otherwise, he'd activate the shield's respective ability with the jump button, unlike other characters.

• Spindash - Like in the Genesis games, pressing spin will not make Sonic automatically start a spindash. Instead, he will start crouching which in turn would require you to press jump to initialize it, continually mashing it will result in a stronger spindash.

Nu Angel Island Zone, Hydrocity (originally from the Blast Mania level pack), Hidden Palace (originally from a Classic Levels pack), Boostmentum 2.0, S3 HUD, and S3 Monitors.
