Overview NaijaFuelWatch is a digital solution developed by Lewisham Multi Solutions Ltd to bring transparency, traceability, and accountability to Nigeria’s petrol (PMS) subsidy system. The app offers a fully digitized and visualized process of PMS importation, discharge, and subsidy payments, from vessel arrival at Nigerian waters to final verification and payment by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The Challenge
The petroleum subsidy system in Nigeria is plagued by opaque operations, falsified documents, and unverifiable delivery claims. Vessels discharge PMS into tank farms without consistent logs, and many Independent Petroleum Marketers (IPMs) present questionable documents for subsidy claims. The existing system lacks real-time verification, audit trails, or public visibility.
