Such a fun day with Captain Jeff, from Bass Buster Sportfishing and my girlfriend Natalie! With the short window we had for this little afternoon half day, we decided our best odds at good numbers on fish would be to make some live shad!
Jeff took us to net some shad for a little bit, and on our first spot with our live shad, it was FULL SPEED FISHING! Small mouth, after smallmouth, after smallmouth, with a surprise nice grade striper, the fishing was as good as it gets!
As always, we were able to break a PB with Captain Jeff! This time being Natalie's biggest fish she had ever caught! A quality 6.5 lb striper!
