This is a Winchester model 1912 also known as the Model 12. I was able to purchase this shotgun at a gun show for $550. I took it home, inspected it further and cleaned it thoroughly. Today was my first day taking it out to test it and make sure that it fired safely and properly.
This is a gun I have wanted for a while and when I saw it, I just had to have it.
The Model 12 has a long history in military service as a trench gun where it saw service in WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam. It was a devastating weapon for its time.
