From safety and network systems to show control and creative direction, he’ll unpack how multidisciplinary collaboration drives project success.
ABOUT CHUCK
Chuck Filson is an active Senior Control Systems Engineer at Prism Systems in Orlando, Florida. He serves as a technical leader for control systems design for theme park projects. He's specifically focused on motion control for animatronics and ride vehicles.
Prior to his current role, Chuck served as a Control Systems Engineer at ITEC Entertainment, now owned by TAIT Towers Manufacturing, primarily leading technical teams on show and ride control projects for the major theme parks, high profile theaters, and interactive museums.
Chuck got his start in themed entertainment at 16 years old as "Bugs Bunny's personal dance choreographer" for the character shows at Six Flags Great America. He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, which he uses now to continue making magic in the industry.
