Just received a Brunton Truarc 20 compass from Good 2 Go Canada (delivered 2 days earlier than promised). Unfortunately the declination adjustment has a limited range of 7 degrees west to 9 degrees east. Declination where I live is 9.5 degrees west. Tried to figure out why and when the bezel came off, 2 of the 6 clips were noted to be broken as well. Declination issue is because of a tab on the needle enclosure that limits movement between the clips that appear to snap the needle enclosure into the bearing dial. Hoping Good 2 Go Canada will be as excellent at returns, as they are at deliveries.
