The Pythian Castle was built in 1913 as a home for widows & orphans by the Knights of Pythias a secret society. During World War 2 it housed German & Italian POW's in cells constructed in the basement. The building has seen over 100 deaths during its history & has no shortage of reported paranormal activity. Claims range from disembodied children's laughter to a negative spirit nicknamed "Boots" that has physically attacked visitors to the castle.
