Solo artist "Honey the Cat" has made her comeback for our first upload of this year 2022. This is the first song I listened from Somi or officially known as “JEON SOMI”. DUMB DUMB is truly a bop. Its catchy tune keeps on repeating in my head while its signature choreography, and iconic lines totally hooked my taste. Thus making me interested in the artist herself thus I explored a little with her music. Her song is pretty well-known in the MMD community as well so I decided to make an MMD Sonic video with Somi’s music. I picked Honey the Cat from the other Sonic girls because she debuted in the channel as a solo artist and the concept would really fit her. Sweet and sassy concept suits Honey, for me.

Just like my Sonic TWICE – TT, I did my very best to make it similar to the actual music video. When I was going on this track, I considered assigning a leading man for Honey just like what it was shown in the original MV. I picked Mighty for he has the potential to be paired with Honey. I looked it up and never I knew there is an actual existing ship MightyXHoney or Mightoney… I think? As I was creating this video, I discovered the chemistry between them and I find them cute together. Hehe. So I ended up enjoying on spicing up their Mightoney moments in the video and here I am now, actually shipping them. XD Just like that, a new ship has been added to my faves. I hope MightyXHoney / Mightoney fans will love what I did here.

I'm aware that MMD motions generally don't work perfectly on Sonic models (occurrence like hand clippings often happen since their appearance are not as proportional as human models), I honestly don't mind about it since my purpose is to show to every Sonic fans out there how I want to express my love to the franchise through MMD animations.
