How I change the oil on a refrigeration rack system.


First I shut down the control power to the first compressor. Then shut down the main power at the braker. Isolat the suction, discharge and oil lines. Pumped the traped refigerint from the compressor back in to the system. With the compressor at 0psi. The oil plug can be used to remove the oil. Oil screen is then pulled and cleaned then reinstalled. Oil is pummed in to the compressor just till the site glass is full. This is more then a normal oil change, but some will be rejected over the course of changing the oil in the other compressors. A evacuation will be proformed the suction and discharge lines will are opened. But the oil system lines remain closed. Does processes repeated over all the compressors on the rack. Once all the compressors are completed. The oil reservoir has drained. There's an access port on the bottom of the oil reservoir. Attach the hose to the bottom of the oil Reservoir access fitting and slowly drain into a bucket. This oil will have refrigerant contained in it and when it gets to atmospheric pressure will foam badly. That phone will dissipate quickly. What's the oil is drained and all you get is refrigerated the hose. Filled oil reservoir to 1/2 of the 2nd eye. After 1hr of run time confirm all your levels and your done.
