I made Chinese Frog Buttons for my Fibre Mood Maya Dress! In this sewing tutorial I share how to sew Rouleau Cording, tie Chinese Knots and redraft a front dress pattern to create a Side Front Opening. And voila! - you too can create a modern cheongsam from a beloved dress pattern. This rouleau cording is made from scratch from bias binding, and I show you some tips and tricks on how-to sew the bias binding properly in preparation for making rouleau cording. There is also a step-by-step walk-through of tying Chinese knots, and how to sew them up to make Chinese Frog Buttons.
