Sharing our Balut Island Vacation and our humbling experience as we found ourselves stranded on a secluded island as weather conditions worsen -- no electricity, no cellular signal. A supposed-two-day vacation became a one week rest indeed. Good thing we were well taken care of the family and welcomed us warmly in their home. Sometimes, it's better to consider all weather forecasts before heading to an island escapade. Praise be to God.
