In Judges Seventeen, Micah carves a god out of dust,
Hires him a Levite, puts a price on trust.
Dan comes marching, seizing priest and shrine,
“Right in our own eyes” felt holy at the time.
That’s us, counting blessings like coins we can spend,
Bending truth to “what works,” calling methods our friend.
But the flood mocks pragmatists when raindrops begin
Faith isn’t “did it grow?” but “did it honour Him?”

What’s the chief end of man?
Glory to the Lord!
What’s the counterfeit then?
Giving self the award!
What do we refuse?
Selling out the Word!
What do we choose?
His righteousness transferred!

Not for ten shekels and a shirt,
We won’t trade our Saviour’s worth.

Humanism crept in wearing Sunday clothes,
Saying, “God exists to make you happy, there it goes.”
Switch thrones, and man sits down, is Christ just a tool,
Getting what you want, a crown, so you can rule?
We make a bargain, just to save our skin from the flames,
But true repentance sees His holiness, don’t play games.
Not fear alone, but worth that breaks the heart,
We turn because He’s worthy, set apart.

What’s the motive now?
Worth of Christ alone!
Why do sinners bow?
Exalt Him on His throne!
What’s our treasure found?
Jesus, everything!
Let your voice resound
Jesus, everything!

Mission isn’t pity with a halo on top,
It’s “Worthy is the Lamb”, that’s the reason we don’t stop.
Songs, sermons, service, every breath, every chord,
All aimed upward like arrows to the Lord.

Tear up the contract; let the worship start.
If no crowds clap and no doors swing,
We still press on, He’s the Prize, He’s the King.
