Today I show you how to make a simple drum sander using angle grinder. This homemade diy thickness drum sander is powered by the angle grinder machine. I used a metal pipe to make the drum for this diy drum sander. This metal drum is wrapped by the sand paper. This sanding drum is rotated by the angle grinder through the chain drive. I step down the angle grinder speed by using the sprockets and chain to increase the torque for this homemade drum sander. This woodworking diy thickness drum sander is used to sand the wood surface to get a even smooth surface finish. This homemade thickness drum sander is very useful for woodworking workshop. This homemade diy drum sander machine is very cheap and simple to make at home. wood can be very fastly sanded/grinded with this homemade machine. This angle grinder hack works good.
