WALT DISNEY WORLD VLOG, DAY 3 | The Most Magical Disney Proposal, Magic Kingdom, Epcot & Target Haul

Welcome back to our Walt Disney World / Orlando Travel Series! Today is the big day — the day Josh proposes to Laura — and honestly one of the most magical moments of the entire trip. Brace yourselves, it’s an emotional one, so I’d grab some tissues.

Before we get into it, please bear with me… I had fallen really ill this day, so my voice was broken and I just appear less and less on camera as the day went on haha. But the vibes were high because it was the day we had all been waiting for.

We started the morning at EPCOT, as we were spending most of the day there, and then took the monorail over to Magic Kingdom for the proposal. As soon as we arrived, the nerves kicked in but the plan was in motion. We gave Jaxon his secret mission as soon as we walked in: when Mummy and Daddy were taking their photo in front of the castle, he needed to run over and give Daddy the ring. He was so excited about his mission, it was adorable, and it was really important to all of us that he was included. He kept whispering to Khy, “Daddy’s going to ask Mummy to marry him.”

As we headed toward the castle, the worst thing that could happen… did. A parade started and crowds instantly gathered. So we had to temporarily abort the mission until the area cleared. Once it was calm again, it was time. Josh and Laura stood for their castle photo, Jaxon ran up with the ring, and Josh got down on one knee. It was perfect. Exactly how we imagined. And we were ALL sobbing. And of course… she said YES! Truly the most magical proposal.

After that, I started to deteriorate fast. I think the adrenaline wore off and my body said “nope.” So I sat on Main Street while Khy and Josh went to try the cheeseburger spring rolls. Khy kindly brought me back a bite (although he almost didn’t) and wow… that single bite was incredible. They really do live up to the hype.

We then headed back to EPCOT for our Lightning Lanes. It was super hot and we were all exhausted, but we pushed through. We started with Test Track, which was so much fun. Then we did Journey of Water (Moana), met Moana, went on Soarin’ (my first time since riding it years ago in California!), and ended EPCOT with the ride I was most excited for: Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. WOW. Even while feeling ill, it was incredible.

Unfortunately, we didn’t make it around World Showcase. We were all just broken people by this point, so we grabbed food from Publix and spent the evening chilling in the pool.

This vlog is a two-days-in-one because it flowed so perfectly. The next morning was a very lazy one — sleeping in and relaxing in the pool. Then we headed to RaceTrac because American gas stations are just a whole vibe. We got frozen drinks and pizza slices… both did not disappoint. After that, we went to Target and literally shopped until we dropped. You’ll see me getting way too excited adding beauty products into the cart — good job Khy wasn’t with me haha.

We ended the day at Disney Springs with dinner at Rainforest Cafe to celebrate Josh and Laura’s engagement. A slow, chilled day, but so needed after back-to-back park days.
