On our last day in Italy, we decided to go to Venice for lunch. We took bus #5 from the Tessara stop across from the Courtyard hotel near the Marco Polo Airport. The bus terminal on the island of Venice is at Piazza Roma. It's at the opposite end to Saint Mark's Square. You can easily take a water taxi right from the bus station or walk a bit to in front of the train station and take a water taxi from there. Or you can walk and discover the island. I would not suggest walking to find your hotel at night. You
stand and took a water taxi back to the bus terminal. our meal cost 77 euro for an appetizer, 2 alcohol drinks, beer, water, 2 pasta dishes, and a cappuccino.
