Epic Ride to Gurudongmar Lake on NS 200 – A Journey to the Roof of the Himalayas

Carving through clouds and climbing beyond 17,800 ft, this ride from Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake on my Pulsar NS 200 was unreal. The terrain shifted from dense forests to icy, barren high-altitude deserts as snow-capped Himalayan peaks towered overhead.

The NS200 and NS160 pushed through thin oxygen, frozen roads, sharp climbs, and unpredictable weather—an ultimate test of rider and machine.

Reaching Gurudongmar Lake, shimmering under a piercing blue sky at one of the world’s highest motorable points, felt divine. Silence. Stillness. Pure magic.
This wasn’t just a motorcycle ride—it was a pilgrimage on two wheels.
