I'm remaking the Super Nintendo game plok! to improve my skills as a game developer, this is to have a specific scope with clear level design etc to recreate. The game is being remade in the unity engine. This will not be released to the public as I do not have the consent of the property holders. This is to document my process as a game developer remaking a game. PLOK is a difficult SNES (Super Nintendo) platforming game that sees you recovering your flag, defeating fleas and bosses. This devlog covers creating the level Dreamy Cove, to do this new enemies and hazards were added such as the invincible sea monster named hattersly? I also added boulders and a new secret stage where you use the unicycle to get to the end. I also added a music remix system that supports multiple songs using scriptable objects in Unity.
