This video is the second in a miniseries within our MPLS playlist. In the first of this miniseries, we took a look at the configuration of the PE and P routers in an MPLS deployment using VPNv4 routes. In this video, we'll continue the configuration by connecting and configuring the CEs and verifying the functionality of the network. We'll also take a look at how VPNv4 routes are shared and displayed on the devices themselves.

But there's more! In the next video, we will see how MP-BGP shares its VPNv4 routes between PE routers, and we'll also see how the VPN labels are being used to direct traffic through the MPLS infrastructure while maintaining isolation between customer networks!

In this video series on MPLS, you’ll learn where MPLS fits within the broader networking landscape, the problems it was designed to solve, and the key benefits it offers, such as improved traffic management, scalability, and support for multiple services.

Chapter list:
============================================
00:00 Introduction
01:30 The MPLS Topology
03:12 Disabling IPv4 address family on BGP
05:15 Examining the iBGP peering
05:40 Configuring the CE - PE peerings
07:59 Examining VPNv4 routes in the BGP table
10:47 Summary

Corrections:

06:55 There should also be the `neighbor 10.10.10.1 activate` command under the address family configuration for PE1 as well! Thanks to ‪@meedzysensei1059‬ for pointing that out!!
07:21 The `neighbor` command on PE2 should indicate a remote AS of 2 and not 1. Thanks to ‪@adir250‬ for caching that mistake!
07:53 The same goes for PE2 here! There should be a `neighbor 10.10.50.1 activate` command under the address family configuration. And the remote AS should actually be "2" not "1". Thanks to ‪@templateorman3127‬ for catching that one!
