In August of 2022 we hiked 100 miles on the Alta Via 2
(AV2) with 36,000 feet of ascent over a 10-day period.
The Alta Via 2 is located in the Italian Dolomites, a
subrange of the Alps. Our route included some additional side trails, summits, and optional Via Ferrata (including the famous Brigata Tridentina). We also took a lower route on the last day due to some potentially iffy weather and some hip pain.
