Sorry this video is late in uploading, had to schedule such a big upload like this and couldn't do it till the upload day.
Churnet Valley on the 27th and 28th February hosted their yearly Steam Gala. Three steam locomotives featured on both days and these are:
Recently Refurbished USA S160 '6046'
GWR 'Taffy Tank' 5619 (on its last event before leaving)
Resident Tkh 2994 'Hotspur'.
Various journeys were also made up the Cauldon Lowe/Ipstones branch. For this video, we headed up the branch onboard 6046, the first trip of the whole gala (the full video for this is on a separate video). I also not only did on-board footage, I did filming at various stations and line side locations.
So to sum up, this video shows on-board behind all three locomotives at the gala, also various stations and lineside spots on the railway. Taken on Saturday 27th February 2016. Just want to extend a thanks to all staff involved in the organisation, the drivers, crew and everyone else related to the gala for making it a very successful one. Also want to thank Frank for showing me lineside locations and Nathan for the day out.
