The Motti Tribe is one of the oldest and largest Kurdish tribes in Mesopotamia. The tribe is respected by other tribes and well-known for their hospitality and valors.
Over the years the tribe name has evolved from region to region Motkî, Mottî, Mutki, Motêlî, Modan, Motti, Motta), and Modî
Currently, the Motti Tribe lives in KOĞ Highlands.
