Rounds and Call Changes at Manchester Town Hall

Some ringing on the twelve bells at the Town Hall in Manchester. These are a very nice twelve, it is just a pity that there were so many people there that I only got to ring once. This was the final tower on the annual NUA, where people from northern universities get together to ring, drink and dance a weekend away. This year it was Manchester's turn, next year it is Liverpool's, so I look forward to that!
It's interesting to note that earlier in the day we rang at Manchester Cathedral, which was the 500th tower I've ever rung at :-)
The tenor here weighs in at 42cwt, just over two tons, and sounds like it too! It has a very majestic deep boom, which I bet the council workers below just love. There was also Manchester's Christmas Market down in the square at the base of the tower, so striking was (as always) of the utmost importance.
This is being uploaded out of chronological sequence because I wanted to post it nearer the NUA time, rather than delay it as I can't get my backside in gear. I promise more videos soon! And I mean it this time! :-D
