Would a rose by any other name still smell as sweet? Likewise, would fried out pork fat with attached skin still taste as good? Where I live some folks call then Gratons, (often the “s” is silent) others call them Chicharones, many folks call them Cracklin’s (no g, but an apostrophe). Often spelled without the apostrophe nor a g. What ever you call them and however you spell them, they taste good. Now with Texas Cajun Seasoning from Uncle Steve’s Shake, they are even better. In this video I demonstrate how to cook them in my Cajun Classic five gallon jambalaya and cracklin’ pot.
