Just over the sea from Bali lies a spectacular part of the world called "East Java" or "Jawa Timor" in the Indonesian language. In this special place are many treasures! Join me on this episode where I travel from Mount Bromo (in the Probolinggo area) - all the way to Bali.
You can see I also visit the incredible but dangerous Tumpak Sewu (Coban Sewu) waterfall on the slopes of Mount Semeru in Malang area (close to Bromo) - The path down is very precarious and a real adventure! Not for the faint hearted.
And Finally I visit the hypnotic and mesmerising Ijen Crater. With its famous turquoise lake. Breasthtaking!
And to lift the same amount of Sulphur from the miners. Its 80kg in a little basket on the shoulder. Very heavy!
I also get caught in many many rain and thunder storms and my tent gets flooded (again!)
I am riding my Honda CB500x from Jakarta (the capital city) to Bali. Across the entire island of Java, Indonesia.
