Fushia: Zentangle Style Drawing using Pebeo Acrylic Paint Mindful Art

This week, I revisited a Zentangle piece that didn’t quite work out last time — and here’s the result! It’s definitely pink!

There’s a lot happening in this drawing, as I’ve been playing with mixing shapes and florals — one of my favourite combinations. I pulled patterns from other sketches in my sketchbook to build a wave of colour that contrasts with the black and white spaces throughout the piece.

Materials used:
-Uni Pin Fineliner & Black Gel Pen
-140gsm cartridge paper
-Pebeo Acrylic Paint in Fuchsia
-Pink Zebra Glitter Doodlerz Gel Pen

It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete, but as always, I’ve sped things up so you can enjoy the full process without the wait.

After becoming ill in October 2022, With a subsequent diagnosis of Grave's Disease (May 23- in remission Oct 24), I decided to create tutorials for all of my flowers and makes. I'd spent 8 years perfecting my techniques and had to close down all my selling platforms, due to my health. But decided to share my techniques on You Tube, so the knowledge can be passed on.

With no improvement in my health and a diagnosis of Connective Tissue Disease (Feb 24), and Cutaneous Lupus (Jun 24).
For my well-being, I am now focusing on all the art techniques and crafts which I've always wanted to try, but never did.. It's something I can do - even when I'm exhausted from the fatigue of my illness, I can just sit quietly and draw.
