Sending my biggest gap EVER!

I've been progressing on my skills on the jumps at Desert Trails Bike Park in Mesa, Arizona. I've been eyeing this gap since I first started going, but my confidence (and ability) level was nowhere near it needed to be to send this double.
After talking to a few riders and getting some tips, I finally committed to sending it. I practiced getting a decent run-up speed, and eventually just committed!
After I came down right on top of the lip after the first time jumping it, it was like I unlocked something in my brain, and I was able to keep going back and continuing to hit it. I have a big grin just thinking about it!
For me, it took a lot of time, practice, and reaching out to others to achieve this goal. I'm excited to take this knowledge to larger ramps and hopefully someday come back here with a proper bmx bike and air this how it was meant to be aired.
Next week I'll be working on cleaning up the landing and see about hitting the second double...
