In this episode of Class of ’09: The Re-Up, the game tackles an extremely disturbing and important topic. The icky guidance counselor attempts to justify PDfilia by falsely comparing it to homosexuality — a comparison that is completely wrong, harmful, and unacceptable.
PDFilia is abuse and a crime. Homosexuality is a valid orientation. They are not comparable in any way, and suggesting otherwise is dangerous and deeply offensive. Class of ’09 intentionally presents this moment to highlight how manipulative and predatory rhetoric can sound when it’s framed as “logic” or “debate.”
