Dateline Philippines: Former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Rogelio “Babes” Singson on Thursday (December 4) insisted health reasons for his resignation as commissioner of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI).
Singson said he only began taking maintenance medication after assuming the post, adding that the pressure of the role had taken a toll on his health.
When asked who should replace him, he recommended appointing a lawyer with a strong background in prosecution to continue the commission’s work.
