Henry Thomas played guitar and the "quills", a small panpipe flute mounted in a rack (like an harmonica). This footage is believed to be him • Could this be Henry Thomas / Ragtime Texas? Medicine shows often used bluesmen to attract a crowd, the snakehandler is probably the "doctor". This guy gives an excellent contemporary version, with the panpipes, of a Henry Thomas song • Henry Thomas - Red River Blues
