Hatched Academy Showreel (2024)

Hatched Academy is Ensemble Offspring's education program, developing emerging Australian musicians for the past 10 years. Future Classics includes the culmination of the Hatched Composer Intensive, alongside the Hatched Associate Artist and Noisy Women Commissions. Our four composers spent this year developing their works with EO performers, international mentors, industry guests and lead mentor, Jack Symonds, in the lead up to the residency week of workshops and the premiere performance at the Utzon Room, Sydney Opera House.

Alice Morgan, our Hatched Associate artist, joined the ensemble for this week as she developed six new works, including her commission of Holly Harrison's work Swivel & Swerve.

Featuring music by: Courtney Cousins, Alexander Maltas, Katia Geha, Klearhos Murphy and Holly Harrison.
