ENGLISH VERSION: Today's Bible Verse (22.10.2025):

VERSE:
...I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. ( PSALM 52:8 KJV)

EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "...I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever." (Psalm 52:8) says today's verse of promise.

'I am an olive tree. Green olive tree. How blessed is the confession of faith, ``an olive tree planted in the temple of God''! Yes, the Lord will bless you like an olive tree. Your heart is God's house. Jesus lives in your heart. So you can be sure that your life, body and family will flourish like a green olive tree.

Olive trees have a lifespan of over 2000 years. Even if part of the olive tree dies, another shoot will appear and give life to the tree. Therefore, the olive tree is always alive. That is why this verse says, "I am like a green olive tree in the temple of God."

There is one big difference between the olive tree and all other trees. All other trees are perishable. But the olive tree is an immortal tree. A tree that cannot rot. A tree that can last a long time. In the days of Noah, the world was filled with water due to the flood.

The trees started rotting in the water. But the olive tree raised its leaves majestically above the water to show that the grace of God sustained it. The dove left the ark and brought the leaves of the olive tree into its mouth.

Why did the olive tree not rot when other trees rotted? It is the special olive oil in it. Because that oil is in it, it protects the olive tree. Not only that, but it makes it special.

When the Lord anointed His servants, He told them to make the anointing oil from olive oil. The oil was mixed with spices and priests, prophets and kings were anointed. Look how much that olive oil is worth!

No matter what challenges come against you in this world, God will give you new life like a new shoot from an olive tree. Fear not, for Jesus, the giver of life, is within you. You will flourish like a green olive tree in your heart, which is the temple of God.

And, "For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit." (Jeremiah 17:8) says the scriptures. It does not fear the heat; You are such a tree. In heat and drought, you will always bear fruit because your roots receive living water from the Word of God.

"They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall prosper in the courts of our God. They shall be fruitful and green in their old age." (Psalm 92:13,15) says the scriptures. He will sustain you and keep you green until your adulthood because you are planted in God's temple. Do not forget that your heart is the temple of God and that the life of Christ is within you.

Beloved, I encourage you not to grieve because of old age or infirmity. May God sustain you and keep you green and prosperous till your adulthood. He will keep you as a green olive tree as you are rooted in Jesus, the living water.

PRAYER:
Lord of love! I praise You for your promise to sustain me and keep me green and prosperous like an olive tree into my old age. I thank You for Your perfect life that works within me and enables me to face all of life's challenges. Lord, I pray that my spiritual roots will be deeply planted in You, the Water of Life, and that I will be continually nourished inwardly by You. I pray that Your blessings will flow over all my possessions and all that I do and that You will elevate me to the highest places. I pray in the name of Jesus that you will strengthen me daily by your glory and be a blessing to others, good father, amen.
