20 MINUTES OF CLOSE-UP AERIAL FIREFIGHTING AIRCRAFT | ALBURY 4K

This video shows 20 minutes of close-up aerial firefighting as aircraft and helicopters respond a major bushfire near Walwa, on the NSW–Victoria border.

During the time of filming the Walwa fire has burned tens of thousands of hectares of bushland and threatened local communities. To support the response, aerial firefighting appliances were deployed to Albury to carry out water and retardant drops, assisting ground crews working in difficult and dangerous conditions.

These aircraft play a critical role in slowing the spread of the fire and helping protect homes, infrastructure, and natural areas.

This footage provides a rare, up-close view of aerial firefighting operations in action, highlighting the effort, skill, and coordination required to manage major bushfires.
