The notes of each count are all played staccato (short) and must be given a little accent. It’s really a challenge to play this groove over and over really steady! Where the left hand doesn’t have much to do, the difficulty in this song is in the fingers of the right hand. I also like when the root note in the bass is different from the chords. Listen for instance at bars 1 and 2. The song also ends with continuing the C note in the bass. This gives a lot of ‘tension’ in the song.
