The Odisha School and College Teachers and Employees Coordination Committee has suspended its protest after receiving an assurance that their five-point demands will be examined and a decision taken within 15 days. The agitation, which had continued for three days at Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar, was called off following discussions with BJP MLAs Ashok Mohanty and Babu Singh. The government has informed that a committee has been formed to review the demands.
