A unique musical collaboration took center stage at the recent Rockin Race Jamboree in Torremolinos, Spain, as the Spanish vocalist teamed up with the California artist to perform a stunning rendition of Loretta Lynn's beloved classic. The performance captivated audiences, showcasing a blend of international talent and a shared passion for timeless music.

Angela Hoodoo has established herself as one of the most influential artists in Spain's Americana music scene. With a background in punk and blues projects (Blue Bloody Blades, A.C.A.B.A.D.A.S), the Granada-born artist released her acclaimed debut LP, Coyote (FOLC Records, 2023). This album propelled her on an extensive tour through prestigious venues and festivals across Spain, culminating in September with a powerful live show backed by her band.

Her deep command and knowledge of the American musical tradition, spanning genres such as rhythm'n'blues, alt-country, blues, and rockabilly, define her repertoire. Currently, Angela Hoodoo is immersed in the creation of her second studio album, scheduled for release in 2025. As a teaser, on September 20th, she launched the single "Snakes in my head," featuring Susan Santos, an exquisite appetizer of what's to come.

Mitch Polzak, a towering (6'5") and energetic performer, is a versatile musician encompassing guitar, vocals, banjo, and songwriting, deeply rooted in American musical traditions. He blends rockabilly, country, and honky-tonk with virtuosic guitar skills, drawing influences from legends like Joe Maphis and Duane Eddy. Fluent in various genres, from bluegrass to surf, he delivers passionate live shows, connecting with audiences through his genuine joy and respect for musical history. Often compared to "The Honky Tonk Mister Rogers," Polzak has shared stages with numerous music icons, including Jerry Lee Lewis and Marty Stuart, solidifying his unique place in the American music landscape.
