Vetterli kadettengewehr was made in two models: Typ I and II. The distinctive feature of the former is the rotating receiver cover which was omitted with the latter. The one featured is the latter Typ II. Manufacturer: SIG in Neuhausen.
Powder charge: down loaded to 3 g instead of 3.65 g for infantry rifles.
One case jammed and had to be removed with cleaning rod.
