There are several other videos on N55 water pump and thermostat replacement, but I couldn't find one on the later F30 chassis.
I found differences in the location of the thermostat, mounting points, and various other changes between the E90 and F30, and show them in this video.
Part numbers:
Water Pump: 11518635090
Thermostat: 11537598865
Pump Mounting Bolts (X3): 11517602123.
BMW coolant diluted with distilled water mixed 1:1. My car took ~1.5 gallons of coolant mix to refill.
Special tools: Torx E12 socket for the pump mounts. All other tools were common stuff.
