Steps to achieve this look.

1. Section hair in 3 parts (creating a layer effect)
2. Grab about 1" of hair and curl away from face
3. Gather hair lightly after releasing from curl barrel
4. Create big "circle' pin curls, placing bobby pin at the root to hold curl and also to let it cool.
5. Start lightly taking pins out and twirl curl in the direction it is made
6. Lightly brush curls going away from face and then push forward with fingers to get a wave look.
7. Lift hair while applying hairspray to give hair volume as well as tease with a comb LIGHTLY.
