Welcome to The Practical Miss!

I’m a Family Studies and Social Sciences Honours Specialist Teacher in Ontario and a Principal Education Consultant with a background in early childhood education, psychology, sociology, and a Master’s in Education specializing in Administration and Leadership.

I’m passionate about practical teaching, lifelong learning, and exploring how tools like AI can enhance our classroom experience. Through this channel, I hope to support educators, students, and families—from learning how to sew and teach sewing to building meaningful lessons in food and nutrition, nutrition and health, early childhood education, and other high school family studies and social sciences courses. It’s also a resource for families, educators, and professionals working with children and youth.
