Did my Pond Aerator Kill All of my Fish?

The pond aerator has been running for over two months now and the water is still green algae colored. I haven't seen any fish in a while and I'm worried that the solar powered pond aeration has killed all of my fish. When using a pond aerator system, the water gets mixed from bottom to top and with that upwards water movement, dangerous gasses that are caused by fish waste and organic matter collecting and slowly breaking down of the ponds bottom, can be mixed with the oxygen rich water and cause harm to the pond fish. Ammonia is the lethal threat to fish. If concentrated amounts of Ammonia get pushed from the pond bottom back through the water column, the gas can harm the fish and cause massive fish kills. Has this green algae filled water proven to be toxic and killed my fish? I grab a fishing rod and fish hard desperately trying to find some fish before winter freeze-up. I had hundreds of fish before the aeration system was turned on and I'm hoping they are all still alive and healthy.
