Pfaff 1209 was running slowly and sluggishly. I addressed every system of the machine: hook, lower shaft and bushings, feed system, feed shaft and bushings, upper shaft and bushings, pattern selector assy, take-up system, needle bar and presser bar and bushings, pattern dial, motor and bushings, and bobbinwinder clutch. The machine maintained the 950 stitches per minute.
If you need technical help, I would love to provide that for you. However, this series of Pfaff machines is very complicated and has very specific settings and tolerances and requires special tools and experience to carry these repairs out. Because of this, I probably won’t be able to answer specific questions in the comment section.
